Tim McCreadie on DWT Wide 5 wheels almost unstoppable at Eldora
06.12.2007Tim McCreadie was a bullet, besting a field of 146 drivers contesting Friday night’s qualifying for the Dirt Late Model Dream XIII at Eldora Speedway. Tim was the only driver to break into the 17 second lap zone, about a half second clear of the next fastest qualifier.
His fortunes soon turned though, as the Watertown, New York native ran into mcechanical issues that ultimately took him out of contention for the Final. A broken oil cooler relegated him to start the A Main from 14th spot based on his “fast-time” provisional, and he finished the 100 lap feature in ninth place overall.
