After winning the first two finals at Ugento, Italy, his 4th place finish in final 3 at the last round in Varennes Sur Allier, France turned out to be enough to clinch the 2007 KZ1 title.
“Sandro” relies on DWT M-Series wheels, and now looks forward to the stand-alone CIK/FIA KZ1 “World Cup” at Sarno, Italy on the 2nd of September.
Intrepid Teamate and 2006 CIK/FIA Super ICC European Champion Roberto Toninelli looked to have regained his form at Varennes, blasting into the lead in final 4 after starting from grid position 6, until a crash put him out on lap 10 of the 17 lap race. Robbie suffered minor rib injuries, but should be ready to go by Sarno.
Congratulations to Intrepid on a fine start to the 2007 season!
