Gust, Wimmer go 2-3 at 2007 WPSA opener...
05.01.2007John Natalie Jr. took the WPSA opener overall win over Team Suzuki-Yoshimura, DWT-equipped Doug Gust and Dustin Wimmer, who both won heat races to advance to the final. New Suzuki teammate Chad Wienen battled hard with Natalie at the start of the final but had a mechanical problem that took him from contention to the sidelines.
Jesse West took the Quad Terrain overall win, enduring the DWT Rock Garden and Log Cross, and after a dominant Scott Kilby was DQ’d for cutting the course.
