Brea, Ca. – June 23, 2008 – Team MSR / Suzuki / Yoshimura / Pro Taper’s Dustin Wimmer delivered another championship-worthy performance at the 8th round of the ITP Tires/ Moose Racing AMA/ ATVA National Motocross Championship in Blountville, Tn. Wimmer (#191) and his Suzuki QuadRacer R450 successfully swept both motos, with teammates Doug Gust (#55) and Chad Wienen (#44) also putting in strong performances.
The number 524 reigning champ, Mitchell DeJong Elite Trophy Kart took to the blistering desert last weekend in Primm, Nevada for the Round 3 & 4 CORR Racing Series. As all race weekends start with high hopes and optimism for standing tall on the podium, this weekend dealt Mitchell a couple one-two punches. No it didn’t put him down, but it gave him a lot to work toward during the next rounds at Pomona on June 6-8.

Minneapolis, June xx, 2008 –The 2008 season is quickly becoming a memorable year as the Polaris/Rath relationship is off and racing. Once again, the Polaris/Rath/Dunlop team made a little history. The anticipation has been growing since the announcement Daryl Rath would not only be piloting a Polaris Sportsman in the rapidly-growing Utility Class at the GNCC, but fielding a Cross Country Team as well. It was an impressive first showing as Rath raced his way to a third place finish in the Utility Open Class and a 56th overall finish out of more than 300 riders in 16 different classes.

(May 27, 2008) – Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Josh Creamer added another podium to his season after two great motos during round six of the AMA ATV Motocross Series at High Point Raceway in Mount Morris, Pa. Along with his podium finish, Creamer earned the top qualifier award on Saturday. Teammates Keith Little and Russell Shumaker finished 12th and 15th respectively.

But at the end of the day he was able to maintain his huge points lead with a 5th overall.

Temecula, CA. (April 21, 2008) – Mitchell deJong, age 10 winner of the first of it’s kind ever desert race in Primm, Nevada, The Best In The Desert (BITD) Primm 250 where all the entrants were under 15 years old. Driver of the #24 DeJong Off Road Elite Trophy Kart just received his new truck from Trophy Kart 2 weeks prior but hadn’t had more than a few hours of seat time in it at a local track mainly testing and race prepping time. Not to mention this is the first time Mitchell has ever driven a shifter motor. The Elites are powered by a Kawasaki KX250 motor and have to be left stock to race. Best In The Desert had been working with MMR racing to include this Trophy Kart class for along side the big boys of racing and Mitchell is so glad they did.
We are now three rounds into the AMA Pro ATV MX Nationals, and consistency has seemed to mark our program thus far. My bike has braved two consecutive muddy weekends, and performed without question. While factory teams are destroying motors and crashing in the tough conditions, we are pushing along every weekend—keeping ourselves in the battle.

Holmes Dominates with Double Win
Paul Holmes continued his dominance in the IOPD British Quad-X Championship with two convincing wins at round three this weekend.
ea, CA – April 14, 2008 – Team Rockstar/MSR/Suzuki/Yoshimura/Pro Taper’s veteran rider Doug Gust took the Bluegrass ATV National with a 2-2 win on Sunday. Teammate Dustin Wimmer won the first moto and ended the day in the third position.
William Yokley finished 10th Overall and 8th in the XC1 Pro Class today in wet conditions. There were 224 total entries with 24 XC1 Pro Riders. Team Rider Mark Notman finished 30th Overall and 15th in the 32 rider XC2 Pro Am Class. William also placed 1st Overall in the UTV (Utility side by side 2 man) Race run right after the Pro main event.
The Southern Nevada Stateline SuperMoto Challenge attracted some of the fastest racers from around the country. The event was held on April 4 – 6 in Primm Nevada. ATV SuperMoto pro, Nic Granlund,
won every race he entered over the 3 day weekend. Winning the team race on Friday night and remaining undefeated through the Quad 450 Pro Main Event on Sunday afternoon.
The weekend began on Thursday with the Nic Granlund Racing School. Proving a wise investment, students that attended the School prior to the event received immediate payback over the weekend. Jason Anderson won the Quad Vet 25+ Main Event. Tye Ham won the novice class, Patrick Clark won the intermediate class, and Mike Gieger held a commanding lead in the beginner class until a lapped riders shock reservoir burst causing Mike to crash. Brock Sizemoore won the 90cc class, DJ Noer won the 14 – 25 main event. “Having so many of my students either win or place in almost every event proves that we are doing something right. We are very excited that our collective team won 7 main events over the weekend.”
The Winrow Honda UK Racing team of Paul Winrow and Stefan Murphy got their 2008 ACU British MMX Quad Championship campaign of to a fantastic start at the opening round on Sunday the 6th of April, the tight and twisty Whiteway Barton circuit near Kingsteignton in Devon providing the setting for a thrilling days action. Inclement weather ranging from prolonged periods of glorious sunshine to heavy showers of hailstones provided an added challenge on the demanding circuit, but even a heavy shower in the closing stages of the final moto could not dampen the spirits of the two team-mates as they looked back on a successful days racing, Paul dominating the event to win both motos and lead the series while Stefan showed a level head and maturity beyond his years to finish 7th overall.

Brea, CA – March 31, 2008 – The second round of the ITP/Moose Racing AMA ATV Motocross Series gave Dustin Wimmer his fourth straight moto win, second straight overall win and a commanding points lead. Teammate Doug Gust was third on the Mill Creek Raceway podium with a 5-2 moto score. Chad Wienen had a top ten finish, carding second in moto one.
William Yokley was on the podium today finishing 3rd Overall under cold and wet conditions in the North Carolina Mountains. There were 296 total entries with 23 XC1 Pro Riders. Team Rider Mark Notman finished 30th Overall and 11th in the 39 rider XC2 Pro Am Class.

Brea, CA – April 16, 2007 – Dustin Wimmer braved the cold wind and rough track busting out the first ATVA National overall win of his young career and his first win for Team MSR/Pro Taper/Suzuki/Yoshimura. A heavy rainstorm moved through South Georgia on Saturday night raising fears that the track would be washed out. Sunday dawned cold and overcast but the sand base of the track made for a raceable surface.
