DWT’s Josh Frederick Takes ATV and SxS Podium Finishes at Primm WORCS Josh Frederick Finishes Second on DS450 and Third with the new Maverick 1000R

Primm, NV (02/11/2013) – Josh Frederick completed two stellar days of racing at round two of the WORCS Series at Buffalo Bills Casino in Primm, Nevada. On Saturday he earned a third place finish aboard the Can-Am Maverick1000R in the Pro Production SxS Class and on Sunday he earned second place in the Pro ATV Class on the Can-Am DS450.

Winning the overall ATV and Class 25 titles was the team led by Josh Fredericks, Moapa, Nev. They covered the course on a Can-Am DS450 in 27:03:99m averaging 41.46mph.

Motoworks’ Chris Bithell Finishes Top Five in GNCC Pro ATV Points

Can Am/Motoworks backed Chris Bithell would face a real challenge at the final round of racing in the Can Am GNCC series. The world famous Loretta Lynn’s Ranch should have been a venue that Bithell could have put in a solid ride in order to close in and secure a close battle in XC1 Pro ATV points however a wiring harness issue shut the Pennsylvanian down as the hard charging XC1 class hit the motocross portion of the track.

Immediate trackside support from fans and other racing teams got Bithell back to his pit where his mechanic worked tirelessly to diagnose and eventually replace the entire wiring harness in order to get Bithell back in the game. While admirable, the efforts would see no gain as the race neared its end, placing Bithell in the 15th spot as the race ended. This was a real let down to the entire team, as so much work as been put into every detail, however the real story is the dedication and positive attitude by the entire Can Am/Motorworks team not only at this event but for the entire 2012 season. At this level, the smallest problem can cost you valuable championship points and fighting back has been the team’s mantra all season long.

Bithell exclaimed that he was not happy about not being able to finish the event and only scoring one complete lap, and that he looks forward to next season and another chance to go after the coveted XC1 Pro ATV Championship aboard a Can Am.

“A burned up wiring harness put an end to our day at Loretta’s. I wasn’t happy not be able to finish the race, but that’s part of racing. I’ll be sporting the #4 on the quad again next year. Big thanks to Can-Am, my mechanic Darin, Motoworks, DWT, Fox Shocks, Arai, Can-Am Gear, Precision and everyone else that supported me.” Bithell stated.

It has been another hard fought season that saw success and failure as the Can Am/Motoworks team continues to push ahead and be a threat at every round. We wish to congratulate the team and racers for their efforts and expect to see them working hard to put the Can Am/Motoworks DS 450 back on the GNCC podium in 2013

John Natalie Finishes 4th at Montreal Supermotocross

Montreal, CA (9/29/2012) – Sky high jumps, technical track, and sand and clay whoop sections were no match for Motoworks / DWT / Can-Am’s John Natalie who scored a fourth place finish at the Montreal Supermotocross.

The Ironman came out in style and edged out the competition in the heat race to take an exciting win. The heat race set the stage for the Monster Energy Supermotocross main event Saturday evening. Natalie got off the gate in good position, but was bounced around a few times in the first few corners.
“I got off the line good, but was edged out in the first corner. It was tight. In the next turn, someone ran into me and we got tangled up” regards Natalie of his start.

Logandale Trail System Open to ATV & SxS / UTVs in the Moapa Valley

Located just over 60 miles from Las Vegas, Nevada and 70 miles from Sand Hallow OHV Area in St. George, Utah is the Logandale OHV Trails System. The Logandale Trail system consists of over 200 miles of trails that is known for its various terrain and beautiful scenery.

ATVRiders.com recently had the opportunity to ride with WORCS Pro ATV Racer Josh Frederick and FOX’s shocks Jeff Gruhlke at the Logandale ATV & SxS Trail System piloting a Motoworks / Can-Am Commander 1000 SxS / UTV. Josh Frederick also brought along his Can-Am DS450 ATV and a Can-Am Renegade Sport Utility ATV to ride. The Logandale OHV trails features some of the most diverse terrain in the United States with many elevation changes.

Suger Grove, PA – The 10th Annual Matt Bartosek Celebration race has always been and always will be one of the greatest races that will have ever been run at the MapleShade MX facility in Sugar Grove, PA. With over 200 racer entries, packed bleachers, and mostly sunny skies, it was a great weekend for motocross racing. 2012 would mark final edition of the Matt Bartosek Celebration race and who better to take home the victory than 2-time defending Bartosek race winner Josh Upperman.
The racing action was heating up just in time for the skies to open up and dump a hefty rain shower on the pro racers as they were heading to the gate. This wouldn’t stop Josh Upperman from tearing off the gate and taking the moto one holeshot.

1st & 2nd Place WIN – AMA Season Final

Can-Am/Motoworks’ John Natalie, Jr. ended his season on a high note with a win at Loretta Lynn’s season final in Hurricane Mills, TN and claimed second place in championship points, while Joel Hetrick followed Natalie to the podium in second place and scored an impressive third in series points.

Can-Am DS 450 ATV Racer Podium at WORCS & NEATV-MX

Valcourt, Québec (8/8/2012) – BCS Performance / Can-Am® DS 450™ pro Josh Creamer won both the Pro and Pro-Am classes at round seven of the New England ATV Motocross series at Englishtown in New Jersey. In the World Off-Road Championship Series (WORCS), Motoworks / Can-Am teammates Dillon Zimmerman and Josh Frederick finished second and third on the Pro class podium at round seven held in Anza, Calif.

AMA ATV MX Championship – Round 9 – RedBud – June 28, 2012

Can-Am DS 450™ ATV Pro class racer John Natalie finished third overall at round nine of the AMA ATV Motocross Championship series held Red Bud in Buchanan, Mich. Natalie, the defending AMA ATV MX champion, easily won the first moto, but had to come from behind in moto two after crashing in the second turn. He ended the day third overall and kept his title hopes alive with one round remaining in 2012.

Can-Am/Motoworks’ John Natalie, Jr. charged his way to the podium in round number eight of the 2012 AMA ATV Motocross Championships while Joel Hetrick finished inside the top five with a fourth place finish.

It was warm and humid at Unadilla in New Berlin, NY, but track conditions were good and there were many fans on hand to cheer on the Can-Am/Motoworks team, which offered plenty of motivation for John Natalie. “I could hear the fans cheering as we went by out there and it really feels good to hear that and helps to keep you going out there,” said Natalie.

The Tecate SCORE BAJA 500 is a grueling race, but DWT / Motoworks supported 5A Team took on the challenge and charged their way to the Class 25 Pro ATV win.

This year’s course was a 450 mile loop that was tighter and a little more technical than in previous years. There were typical conditions with plenty of rocks, dust, silt beds and of course, whoops.

Can-Am/Motoworks’ John Natalie, Jr. and Joel Hetrick came on strong and battled their way to the podium at round number four of the 2012 AMA ATV Motocross Championships in Walnut, IL.

A shortened course at Sunset Ridge presented some challenges as the track was even rougher than normal and the hot weather only made matters worse as fatigue became a factor as racers pushed themselves to the limits. Despite the challenges, the Can-Am/Motoworks team overcame the odds and made their way to the Pro podium.

La Tuque, Quebec, CA (05/20/2012) – The Can-Am/Motoworks team of Josh Frederick, Dillon Zimmerman and Collins Webster took on the 12 Hour of La Tuque and pulled off their second consecutive Pro ATV class win.

Defending champions, Josh Frederick and Dillon Zimmerman were joined by Collins Webster, who was filling in for French racer Jeremie Warnia, who could not attend due to a championship race in Europe.

Chris Bithell Finishes Top Five at Limestone 100 GNCC

Chris Bithell took on the challenge of the Limestone 100 in Springville, IN, this past weekend for round number six of the 2012 GNCC series and claimed a fourth place finish, keeping him in a comfortable fifth in series points at the mid-season mark.

This was yet another new course for the series this year and it was well liked by many racers. There were plenty of hill climbs, creek beds and well-worn trails to negotiate and near perfect conditions made it even more enjoyable.

Vista, CA (05/05/12) – Can-Am/Motoworks’ Joel Hetrick has been a threat for an overall win at every round so far in the 2012 AMA ATV Motocross Championships and this past weekend, he followed through. Hetrick topped the podium at round number three in Budd’s Creek and was joined on the podium by his teammate, John Natalie, Jr., who claimed third overall.

For Joel Hetrick at round four of the AMA ATV Motocross National Championship Series, two second place finishes was enough to put the sophomore rookie on top of the podium at Budds Creek MX, where he scored his first overall win of the 2012 season.

Chad Wienen dominated round two of the 2012 AMA ATV Motocross Championships, winning both motos and the overall and was joined on the podium by Can-Am/Motoworks’ John Natalie, Jr. in second and Joel Hetrick in third.
Rain was in the forecast at Muddy Creek, and it held off for quite a while, but in the final two laps of the first moto, the skies let loose and made things interesting for racers. By the time the gate dropped for moto two, the skies cleared and the track dried out nicely, making for excellent race conditions.

Dry and dusty conditions greeted racers at the Big Buck GNCC in Union, South Carolina, and a rough course with many tree stumps and other hidden obstacles were a challenge for many, but that didn’t stop Chris Borich from doing what he does best: win.

Can-Am/Motoworks’ Chris Bithell was right behind Adam McGill going into the first lap and stayed close. By the second lap, Bithell worked his way into third place where he remained for the rest of the race to take third at the checkered flag.

Can-Am/Motoworks’ Chris Bithell showed his strength and determination at round number three of the 2012 GNCC at Steele Creek and is now in the top five in series points.

Motoworks’ John Natalie, Jr. Podiums at AMA ATV MX Season Opener

Vista, CA (03/26/2012) – Can-Am/Motoworks’ John Natalie, Jr. put in an incredible run at the season opener of the 2012 AMA ATV Motocross Championships and took the number two spot on the podium, while new teammate Joel Hetrick was impressive as he battled it out in his first race with the team.

Aonia Pass MX in Washington, GA hosted the opening round of the AMA ATV Motocross Championships where good weather was on hand and good track conditions prevailed for the day.

After winning the pro championship last season, John Natalie, Jr. has been training vigorously over the off season, in order to keep the number one plate in the Can-Am/Motoworks camp again this year, and it showed as he charged his way to the podium in round one.

Vista, CA (03/10/2012) – The Can-Am/Motoworks team of Josh Frederick and Dillon Zimmerman conquered the Mexican desert as they charged their way to the top of the podium in the Pro ATV Class 25 at the 2012 SCORE San Felipe 250 desert race.

While Josh Frederick is no stranger to the SCORE series and its races, this was the first time for Dillon Zimmerman to take part. “It was a really great experience! I was really impressed by the culture down there and how many fans of racing there are. You could be out in the middle of nowhere and all of a sudden come up on a big group of local spectators out there cheering you on. It was really cool!” said Zimmerman.

Can-Am / Motoworks Announces 2012 ATV Race Teams

Joel Hetrick and Chris Bithell Join Motoworks Team for 2012

Vista, CA (1/20/2011) – The Can-Am / Motoworks team recently wrapped up an incredibly successful 2011 ATV racing season with John Natalie and Jeremie Warnia both winning championships, and Can-Am / Motoworks is already prepared to defend their number one plates along with expanding their racing efforts for the upcoming season. For 2012, Can-Am/ Motoworks is bringing back some familiar faces, but they are also adding several new racers to the team with the addition of Joel Hetrick and Chris Bithell.

Last season, John Natalie, Jr. brought the Can-Am/Motoworks team their first AMA ATV Motocross Pro Championship, so it is only fitting that the “Ironman” will return to the team to defend the number one plate. “John is really pumped for the upcoming season. He has been training and he is ready, so we can’t wait to see what he can do for the 2012 season,” stated team owner, Johnny Leach.

Surprize, AZ – Yamaha/Golden West Cycle’s Dustin Nelson took his first win of the season at the final round of the 2011 WORCS series, but Can-Am/Motoworks’ Jeremie Warnia claimed the Pro ATV Championship after joining Nelson on the podium in second place, while Josh Frederick found himself in the runner up spot for the championship after finishing in third.

Going into the final round, it was a battle between Can-Am/Motoworks teammates, Josh Frederick and Jeremie Warnia, for the 2011 WORCS Pro ATV Championship. The pair was tied for the points lead heading into the final round, so it was a winner-take-all situation; giving the championship to whomever would bring home the better finish. After round eight, both racers were determined to win, making for an intense final round.

Track conditions at Speedworld MX were anything but typical as rain showers were forecast for the day. Rain had fallen overnight into the morning, which made for a slick and muddy track, which prompted the pros to decide against running the normal parade lap to check out the track before the start of the race. Getting out front early was going to be crucial in the muddy conditions, and veteran racer Dustin Nelson was well aware of that as he lined up for the final WORCS pro ATV race of the year.

“Paul Holmes wins British Championship Final!”

Holmes Racing’s Paul Holmes showed exceptional speed and style to win the final round of the 2011 GOLDSPEED British championship at Milton Park this past weekend. Taking 2 wins and a 5th place Holmes moved to 2nd place in the overall Championship which is an amazing result considering he missed the entire first round due to an event clash with the European Championship in which he also claimed 2nd overall. This final round of the Championship came just 1 week after Holmes represented his country in the 2011 Quad-X of Nations event in Germany where he took one win and a 2nd place claiming the 2nd place overall individual honours.

Washougal MX is a beautiful National track located in Western Washington.
The WORCS motorcycles and Atv’s shared the track for weekend.
Apex Atv’s took 21 out of the possible 27 podium spots for stock/production youth classes.
The youth turnout was smaller than normal but possibly the 100 degree weather in Wa state
had something to do with it. I thought Washington state was cool and rainy…..right…….
The Beckman Brothers brought home 7 Trophies and are looking to take 5 (possibly 7)

Can-Am's John Natalie Crowned 2011 AMA Pro ATV MX Champion

Hurricane Mills, TN (8/13/2011) – This year’s AMA ATV Motocross Championship Series presented by DWT has been an array of ups, downs, career-firsts and even season enders; it’s been chalked full of excitement as well as disappointment as the fastest ATV racers in the nation have put everything on the line to compete for the coveted AMA Pro Racing ATV Motocross Championship title. However, amidst all the hard work and emotion, only two riders were in actually in contention this weekend to take home the championship title, and those riders were Motoworks Can-Am’s John Natalie and Baldwin Motorsports PEP Racing’s Josh Upperman – who came into the final round of racing at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch only ten points apart.

Rewinding back to June, Motoworks Can-Am’s Chad Wienen had swept four of the first seven rounds of racing – giving himself a padded points lead heading into the second half of the schedule until a season-ending practice crash put a halt to his championship sights in 2011. Like the true champion that he is though, Wienen attended this weekend’s season-finale race to support his Can-Am teammate as well as his friends and fellow racers. To keep his mind in the game, Chad even co-announced both pro motos alongside ATVMX announcer Rodney Tomblin, adding his on-track experience and expertise for the fans at Loretta Lynn’s.

AMA Rnd. 10 - NATALIE TAKES FIRST!

Can-Am/Motoworks’ John Natalie, Jr. took the overall win at round number ten of the 2011 AMA ATV Motocross Championships.

Although he was not racing, Can-Am/Motoworks’ Chad Wienen was in attendance in the announcers booth helping call the races and give some inside perspective on what goes on in the mind of a race when they are preparing for a race and out on the track.

Despite the hot temperatures at Red Bud, that did have an impact on some racers, everyone was in good spirits and John Natalie, Jr. was hungry for the win in order to get a little more distance between him and Josh Upperman in the points race, and Natalie would get exactly what he set out to accomplish.

Can-Am/Motoworks’ John Natalie was in the top five off the start and quickly moved into the number two spot and went after Josh Upperman. Natalie took the lead after just a couple of laps, but he was not alone as Thomas Brown was close behind. Natalie held off Brown for a couple laps, but Brown was able to slip by. Natalie tried to remount a charge late in the moto but was unsuccessful and would take a second place finish in moto one. “Thomas was riding really well, and the heat was also starting to get to me a little,” said Natalie.

Valcourt, Québec, July 19, 2011 – Motoworks / Can-Am Pro ATV racer John Natalie maintained his AMA ATV MX Championship points lead by finishing third overall at the AMA ATV MX Championship held at Unadilla outside of New Berlin, N.Y. Canadian Can-Am X-Team DS 450 racer Richard Pelchat finished fifth overall in his first AMA race of 2011.

Hetrick Racing’s Joel Hetrick Goes 1-1 for Win, Josh Upperman & John Natalie Podium

Joel Hetrick took on the competition and came out on top, winning both motos and taking the top spot on the podium at round number eight of the 2011 AMA ATV Motocross Championships. Josh Upperman claimed the number two spot on the podium and closed in a little more on points leader John Natalie who took the final spot on the pro podium.
The hard packed track at Unadilla got quite rough and took its toll on racers as the day wore on and the warm temperatures also played a factor in endurance, but rookie pro, Joel Hetrick was unstoppable despite the rough conditions.
Joel Hetrick charged hard to take the moto one win. Hetrick was in third off the start behind Richard Pelchat and Nick DeNoble and kept the pressure on until he was able to get a good line and take away second from Pelchat.
From there, Hetrick went to work on DeNoble and after several laps, he took over the lead. Once out front Hetrick began to pull away and crossed the finish line with a seven second lead over the competition.

IRONMAN #13 JohnNatalie Jr amazingly claimed the ATVRiders.com Fastest Qualifier Award just a few weeks after breaking his arm

Can-Am/Motoworks’ John Natalie, Jr., who took the ATVRiders.com Fastest Qualifier Award, was in the number six spot off the start, after a heated encounter with Chase Snapp off the start that sent both racers off the track. Natalie still rode a solid moto despite still dealing with a broken arm. Natalie charged hard and after battling it out with Thomas Brown and again with Chase Snapp, he would work his way up to the number three spot behind Josh Upperman.

Natalie was closing in on Upperman, but Jeremy Lawson and Nick DeNoble were right behind Natalie and applying the pressure. Natalie would bobble late in the moto and allow Lawson and DeNoble to get by, sending him back for a fifth place finish.

For moto two, Natalie was on a mission and flew off the line in third behind Josh Upperman. Natalie stayed right on Upperman, but the rough track prevented him several times from making a pass. Natalie decided to play it safe and waited for an opportunity and just two laps before the finish line; Natalie got around Upperman and took over the number two spot. Natalie’s 5-2 finishes would put him in the number three spot on the podium.

“My hat’s off to Joel Hetrick for running a great race. This track was really hard packed and hard to pass, but I gave it my all and we had a great battle out there. We had a great day and I put the Can-Am on the podium!” said Natalie, who is still clinging to the points lead.

Millfield, OH (7/9/2011) – Chris Borich took the win and extended his points lead at round number eight of the 2011 GNCC series.
Sunday Creek Raceway was the hosting facility for the John Penton round with sunny skies and temps in the mid 80’s. Track conditions were good, with some areas of mud around the creek crossings, but mostly just tacky conditions and very little dust.
The pro points battle between reigning champ Chris Borich and Adam McGill continued into this round with McGill trailing Borich by only seven points after McGill took the overall win at Snowshoe. McGill was looking for another victory at the John Penton round and hoping to take over the points lead, however, Borich was not about to go down without a fight.

Rookie Chase Snapp Takes First Ever AMA Pro Moto Win

There was a noticeable absence at this weekend’s Suzuki Summer ATV National at Sunday Creek Raceway as Motoworks Can-Am’s Chad Wienen missed his first race of this season after undergoing surgery just last week. Although Wienen will not be racing again this season, the ATV Motocross family will continue to follow and support Wienen in his recovery efforts.

Upperman nailed the holeshots all day Round 8 of the AMA ATV Motocross National Championship Series presented by DWT took over the grounds of Sunday Creek Raceway in Millfield, Ohio, for the first time ever in the history of the series. With its wide-open spectating view, first-class parking and undeniably workable clay terrain, the Sunday Creek facility was a big hit on the AMA ATVMX circuit. A small rain took place in the early afternoon, creating an interesting dynamic for the first set of motos, but as soon as the rain stopped and the sun came out, it was a perfect day for ATV racing.

Josh Upperman came away with his first pro win of the season and is closing in on the pro points lead, while Can-Am’s Chase Snapp’s amazing moto one win helped to earn him the number two spot on the podium and Yamaha’s Thomas Brown put together two solid motos to round out the top three at round number eight of the 2011 AMA ATV Motocross Championships.

The Can-Am/Motoworks team took a hit this past week after both Chad Wienen and John Natalie, Jr. announced injuries. Points leader, Chad Wienen, suffered a broken back in a crash while practicing at his home last week. Thankfully, Wienen is up and walking around and is expected to make a full recovery, but his injuries have put an end to his championship run and his 2011 season. John Natalie is also on the injured list after breaking his arm, but the Ironman chose to race anyway in order to salvage points.

2011 GNCC Rnd. 7 - Snowshoe,WV - June 25, 2011

Can-Am / Warnert’s Adam McGill & Chris Bithell Go 1-2

Adam McGill pocketed a cool $5,000 and moved within striking distance of the 2011 Can-Am Grand National Cross Series points lead by taking a spectacular win at the Motosport.com Snowshoe GNCC, round eight of the series at Snowshoe Mountain Resort in Snowshoe, West Virginia.
With the win, his second of the year, McGill moved to within seven points of series points leader Chris Borich, who finished a disappointing 12th after mud clogged his radiator and caused the engine on his Rockstar Makita Suzuki to overheat.
McGill’s Foremost Insurance/Warnert Racing Can-Am teammate Chris Bithell finished second after leading much of the race, while FRE Racing KTM’s Bryan Cook claimed his first podium finish of the year with a third.

The third round of the NEATV-MX Series was held over Memorial Day weekend in Clifford, PA at Hurricane Hills. The track was in excellent condition and lived up to its name. The track was full of doubles, whoops, and an elevation that could be quite intimidating. There was a spectacular crowd on hand during the holiday weekend. The rain showers held off leaving high temperatures and partly cloudy skies.

John and Michelle Natalie made a surprise appearance to the series. Both Natalie’s had an excellent day at the track and experiencing the NEATV-MX Series. “I like the series, it’s a lot different from the Nationals. I am going to try to make more of these races, at least, the ones that don’t conflict with Nationals,” stated John Natalie.

2011 GNCC Racing - Round 6 - Rock Run - Chris Borich Takes XC1 Pro Win on DWT

Patton, PA (5/28/2011) – In what could be one of the most exciting races of the season, Pro-am racer Walker Fowler put in an incredible performance and topped the afternoon podium at round number six of the 2011 GNCC series and became the first-ever pro-am racer to top the podium in a non-gran prix style race.

The weather was good with partly cloudy skies and warm weather. The track was fast and rocky and was wide enough to offer up plenty of opportunities to pass, but it also had its treacherous spots as several racers would find out throughout the day.

Suzuki’s Chris Borich was in third off the start and made his way past KTM’s Bryan Cook when he began to experience clutch issues on the second lap, but Borich charge to the front nearly ended at the end of lap when he hit a kicker in the field section before the finish line,which almost sent him over the bars.

3rd Place – Chase Snapp – DWT Wheels, Tires & Motoworks Exhaust!

Can-Am’s rookie pro Chase Snapp claimed his first ever podium position in third.

Good weather and good track conditions were on hand at Steel City as racers were getting ready for what would be one of the most intense and interesting rounds of racing so far this season as positions were swapped and mechanical failures brought heartbreak for some and gave others a shot at the podium

Can-Am rookie, Chase Snapp, was most impressive in moto one as he came off the start in the top five and immediately began to charge forward. Snapp and Thomas Brown seemed to pick up where they left off in round five, battling hard with positions changing hands several times, but Snapp was able to hang on and keep his position ahead of Brown. Snapp would also benefit when Josh Upperman had a get off at the midway point allowing Snapp to move into second place, where he would finish out his moto.
“I got a good start and I just kept my head down and tried to stay focused. Thomas was really tough out there, but I am so excited to be up here,” said Snapp after the first moto.

Union, SC – After mechanical issues kept him from the podium at round three, Chris Borich made a big statement at round four of the 2011 GNCC Racing season, taking the win by over 48 seconds, while Adam McGill and Taylor Kiser joined him on the podium at Big Buck.
Weather conditions were good for round four with temps in the mid 80’s. The warm and dry conditions caused a lot of dust early for this round but the wind picked up for the afternoon races, which seemed to work to Chris Borich’s advantage and allowed him to do what he does best…win!

John Natalie & Josh Upperman Round out Podium

Pell City, AL (3/19/2011) – By now it’s no secret that the defending Champion Josh Creamer did not have intentions to race the AMA ATV Motocross National Championship Series presented by DWT this year. A change in plans caused Creamer to race round two aboard his privateer Honda machine and he may have found out that it’s harder to defend a championship than it is to win one.

The temperatures were beyond perfect at Millcreek MX Park in sunny Pell City, Ala. this weekend. With a full gate of AMA Pro riders and a well-groomed track, it couldn’t have been a better day for racing.

Motoworks DWT Fox Shox Holz Racing Can-Am rider Chad “Big Red” Wienen ran the fastest lap time of the morning, earning himself the $100 ATVRiders.com Fastest Qualifier Award. Coming off the previous two seasons as just a top three contender, Wienen has come into 2011 fully prepared and ready to take home a championship. So far, the Illinois native has swept every moto, giving him the points lead heading into round three in a couple weeks.

Primm, NV – Round number two of the 2011 WORCS series saw Bomb Squad Racing’s Josh Creamer take his first career WORCS win and was joined on the podium by Can-Am/Motoworks’ Jeremie Warnia in second and Josh Frederick in third.

Round 2 of the WORCS Series combined both motorycles and ATVs together for one weekend of racing, but they each raced on their own track, which made for a huge crowd of racers and spectators at the Buffalo Bill’s Casino in Primm, Nevada.

DWT’s Chris Borich shadowed the leaders for nearly the entire race until the final lap when Borich made his move on Bithell to take control of the lead and claim his 9th straight GNCC Pro ATV Win as he remains undefeated since May of 2010.

Paul Holmes wins European Championship Final in Germany

The grand finally for the 2010 Goldspeed European Championship was held this past weekend at the spectacular venue of Rudersberg in Germany. The hill side based, hardpack circuit was perfectly prepared and with the thousands of spectators filling the hill side the event was a great success and it was Paul Holmes who took the overall honors fighting hard in all 3 races and to take the win. The only disappointment for Paul this weekend was not being able to be in two places at the same time. After leading the Scottish Championship from the start a clash with dates meant Paul had to miss the final round to be in Rudersberg. However, despite not being there he still managed 2nd place just 17 points
behind John Mitchell.

WORCS ATV Racing – Round 9 – Mesquite, NV – October 16, 2010

Can Am/Motoworks’ Josh Frederick came on strong at the final round of the 2010 WORCS series and not only took the Pro ATV win, but also reclaimed the WORCS Pro ATV Championship.
Going in to the final round at Mesquite, Nevada, Josh Frederick knew that he not only needed to win, but he also knew that luck needed to be on his side as his rival Beau Baron had the points lead and would need to finish outside of the top five in order for Frederick to win the championship.

New Berlin, NY -Chris Borich kicked off the second half of the Can-Am Grand National Cross Country Series by taking his eighth win of the season, using his patented last-lap charge to win the Can-Am Unadilla GNCC in New Berlin, New York.

Borich mixed it up with Balance Racing Yamaha’s Taylor Kiser and Warnert Racing Can-Am’s Adam McGill during the first four laps of the two-hour race, but like he as done several times this year the Pennsylvania rider picked up the pace on the final lap, putting his Yoshimura Suzuki into the lead to edge Kiser for the win.

work fine, but the 25-inch Goldspeed MXU tires
mounted on DWT’s Diablo wheels add some
much needed bling. The MXU tire is Goldspeed’s
new six-ply utility tire, and the aggressive tread
pattern includes high grip knobs and a PPM
sidewall. They’re geared a bit more toward play
than work but looked too cool to pass up for
this build. The Diablo wheel looks cool enough
that I wish they came in truck sizes; they’re just
plain mean looking, and the black powdercoat
would ensure this KingQuad will never be
confused with that of any other dopey farmer
(yes, I realize I’m still a city boy at heart). The
Diablo is lightweight, yet rated at 1,000 pounds
per wheel, which would add strength in addition
to just looks.”

Josh Creamer sealed his first AMA ATV Motocross Championship at the final race of the 2010 season at Loretta Lynn Ranch in Hurricane Mills, TN. Due to inclement weather throughout the weekend, the track officials were forced to reduce the pro racing to a one moto format, which was won by Chad Wienen aboard his Motoworks Can-Am. Wienen took his second overall win in a row, while Dustin Wimmer rode through the mud to take second place.

Motowork’s Chad Wienen Takes Season 1st Win, Creamer & Upperman Podium

Can-Am’s Chad Wienen was on in Moto One after a 5th place start, he charged his way up to a third place finish right behind Suzuki’s Josh Creamer, which had Creamer looking over his shoulder at the finish line jump as Wienen closed a five second gap in just two laps

Can-Am/Motoworks’ Chad Wienen was fifth off the start and would work his way into the number three spot after just a few laps into the first moto. Wienen, who claimed the ATVRiders.com fastest qualifier award would close in on Josh Creamer, but ran out of time before he could make a move and would have to settle for the number three spot.

DWT PROVED BEST IN BRITAIN BY KARTING STAR JACK HAWKSWORTH

DWT Congratulates highly-rated young Bradford karting star Jack Hawksworth, who has proved himself as the best in Britain by brilliantly triumphing in the prestigious annual Kartmasters outing at PF International, in so doing earning himself the coveted ‘Driver of the Day’ accolade for good measure – and all that up against a seven-time champion and having only first driven his kart a week beforehand, an incredible achievement.

AMA rnd 10 - Motowork's Chad Wienen Takes 1st place, Creamer & Upperman Podium on DWT!

Wienen would lay down the fastest lap time of any racer with a time of 02:15.043 and was even said to be recording 5 second faster lap times consistently than the Pro bikes that were there just the weekend before.

Can-Am/Motoworks’ Chad Wienen was fifth off the start and would work his way into the number three spot after just a few laps into the first moto. Wienen, who claimed the ATVRiders.com fastest qualifier award would close in on Josh Creamer, but ran out of time before he could make a move and would have to settle for the number three spot. As the gate dropped for moto two, Wienen was in a strong fourth off the start and quickly made his way into third and just before the midway point of the race, he would challenge Josh Upperman to take over second and begin his pursuit of leader, Josh Creamer.

John Natalie Claims 1st Win for Can-Am, Josh Creamer & Jeremy Lawson Podium

Armagh, PA – Hometown hero John Natalie, Jr. would top the podium at round eight of the 2010 AMA ATV Motocross Championships and give Can-Am their first overall victory, while Josh Creamer would finish second on the podium, increasing his points lead, and Jeremy Lawson would make his first visit to the podium this season in third.

Pleasure Valley was the hosting facility for round eight and there were many track changes since last year’s round. This year’s track featured some big table top jumps, long straights and an uphill rhythm section, adding a technical element to the track. The weather was great with temps in the 80’s and sunny skies as racers headed to the starting line.

Armagh, PA – Pennsylvania’s own John Natalie took home the overall win aboard his Motoworks Can-Am during round eight of the AMA Pro ATV MX Championship at Pleasure Valley Raceway in Armagh, PA. This win marks Can-Am’s first time winning an AMA Pro ATV MX overall. Team Rockstar Makita Suzuki’s Josh Creamer finished second overall, further extending his points lead over his teammate Dustin Wimmer.

“The weekend went really well for me here at Pleasure Valley” Natalie said. “I was able to grab Can-Am’s first ever win in front of these amazing fans.”

Clem Racing Inc. (CRI) had its best weekend of racing ever!! Stewart Haas racing Developmental drivers Michael Atwell age 10 and Tyler Clem age 8 competed in the USAC Eastern States Series Championship .25 Next Gen races this past weekend in Braselton Ga. With nearly 100 cars entering the event the competition was stiff. Tyler qualified 2nd and sat on the outside pole of the Jr Honda race and passed pole sitter Chandler Smith midway thru the race and never looked back as Tyler went on to capture victory in the Jr Honda division AMain.

Winning Pro Am has been our number one goal for years now (we last Won
the Pro Am Championship in ‘05, and didn’t contest the class in ‘06),
sure we’ve Won allot of other stuff in the last few years, but Pro Am
is the top of the food chain. What makes it 999 times better than ever
is that it was Cody Grant that did it. No racer deserves it more than
Cody, the guy trains like an animal, and rides the fine line of near
bankruptcy in his pursuit of a career in ATV Racing. So keep him in
